Sedum 'Herbstfreude', also known as 'Autumn Joy' is a popular, hardy perennial that forms a clump of fleshy, blue-green leaves topped with large, flat flowerheads. The flowers emerge from greenish-pink buds in late summer, quickly turn bright pink, and mature into a rich coppery-brown by autumn, fading to a golden bronze. This plant is low-maintenance, drought-tolerant, and attracts pollinators. It thrives in full sun and well-drained soil and is excellent for borders, containers, or cut flower arrangements.
