Sales Assistant - Gardening & Seasonal (L2354)

Would you like to work in our garden centre at Logwood? 

We are looking for a hands-on person to join our team.

This is a permanent position, working approximately 35 hours a week, on a rota basis, including a Saturday.

Hourly Rate will be:

25yrs +   £12.61

You will be required to help customers on the products we sell in this department including BBQs, Garden Furniture, Christmas trees & lights, birdcare and garden care. This role involves van driving, particularly in peak season, to deliver items such as garden furniture, bbqs, pots and compost to customer homes.   You will also be required put out stock and assist with building garden furniture and BBQs.

This role is a great opportunity for an individual who likes a varied job and working with a range of individuals; assisting customers on the shop floor, helping them to their car, offloading incoming deliveries, ensuring the storage rooms are kept to the required standards and van driving.

Due to company motor insurance requirements, applicants must be aged 25 or over to enable undertaking of company van driving duties.

You will benefit from receiving full training on manual handling, forklift driving and the use of pallet trucks.
