£13.00 - £13.25 p/h  

Responsible to Bakehouse Production Manager 

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to support the day-to-day cleanliness and organisation of our bakehouse. This role is essential in maintaining a safe, efficient, and hygienic working environment for the production team. 

Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Washing bakery equipment, utensils, and tools  

• Tray washing and maintaining clean baking equipment  

• Dealing with deliveries of goods in, stock handling  and stock rotation 

• Cleaning and sanitising work areas, surfaces, and floors  

• Supporting proper ingredient storage and organisation  

• Waste management, including disposal and recycling  

• Ensuring hygiene and food safety standards are maintained at all times 

Essential: 

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn  

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment  

• Good attention to cleanliness and hygiene  

• Reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours 

• Available to work 5 days per week   

• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team  

Desirable: 

• Previous experience in a kitchen, bakery, or cleaning role  

• Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards  

• Experience using commercial dishwashing equipment  

• Understanding of safe manual handling practices and COSHH
